- Brown Recluse spiders: Brown Recluse spiders are light brown to yellowish-grey, and is definitely another spider you don’t want at home. They have a distinguishing dark brown violin-shaped pattern on their bodies, and even though they avoid people and noise, if provoked, they will retaliate and bite. Their bite is toxic, starting out with red itching, and in later stages, look like your skin is melting away (necrosis). Bites from Brown Recluse spiders should also receive immediate medical attention.

What Attracts Spiders Into Your Home?
Spiders are most commonly attracted to food sources, aka, other bugs. Eliminating the presence of other bugs at home, like crickets and flies, will go a long way to getting rid of spiders.
Other draws for spiders include moisture (some spiders hide out in basements, crawl spaces, and other damp areas indoors) and dry environments (other spiders prefer dry environments like air vents, attics, and the upper corners of rooms).
How do I Stop Spiders Coming in My House?

- Screens. Keep window and door screens repaired, as well as door sweeps and weatherproofing.
